Features:

1. Diameter Range 2.6–4.0mm – Covers the most commonly specified sizes for core wires in ACSR/AW and OPGW strand designs, offering flexibility for cable engineers.

2. Uniform Aluminum Cladding – The aluminum layer is consistently thick around the entire steel circumference, preventing localized corrosion and ensuring long-term bond integrity.

3. High Tensile Strength – The underlying steel provides break strength values suitable for long-span overhead installations and severe ice or wind loading conditions.

4. Galvanic Compatibility – The aluminum outer surface mates perfectly with adjacent aluminum strands, eliminating bimetallic corrosion issues found with bare steel cores.

5. Low Electrical Resistance – The cladding allows current sharing between the steel wire and surrounding aluminum layers, reducing overall cable losses during fault or lightning events.

1. ACSR/AW Conductor Core – Used as the central reinforcing strand or full core bundle for aluminum-clad steel reinforced overhead conductors.
2. Overhead Shield Wires – Deployed as a standalone earth wire on transmission lines where corrosion resistance and limited current-carrying capacity are needed.
3. Bonding & Grounding Jumpers – Formed into short spans for substation grounding or pole-to-pole bonding in corrosive atmospheric zones.
4. Marine Power Crossings – Used in special overhead cables that cross coastal inlets or salt marshes, where standard galvanized steel wires would fail within a few years.
